21 Counties

New Jersey contains 21 counties. For your first test you will be give a blank map of NJ and fill in all of the counties in the appropriate locations. The capitol of NJ is Trenton. You will also need to find out where Trenton is, and locate it on the map.





















If you would like practice, I would recommend printing out the picture above to write in all of the counties. It is your responsibility to find them, whether it be online or in a book, and put them in the right location.


New Jersey is considered the Garden State. As you reseach the different counties, you will be able to see how similar and different each of them are. I want you to each blog about why you think certain counties give to the name of the "Garden State" and why you do not think others would apply. You don't have to do any research, just try and think of why certain things would and would not apply.
